Unique dunes of the island and the largest moorlands of north Funen are located here. The Peninsula of Hindsholm is located towards north east, which is a region formed during the Ice Age with islands, headlands and a variety of flora and fauna. The shallow water in the bay makes this region popular among birds too. The natural area of Fyns Hoved is located towards the northern end, from where you can enjoy a magnificent view of the water and the countryside. The tourist destination of Odense is located 30 km from the house, where you can explore the birth place of the renowned story-writer named Hans Christian Andersen. The open air museum of Den Fynske Landsby is also worth a visit, which too dates back to the time of Andersen.
