Præstø is a pretty idyllic old town with beautiful traditional houses and a small cosy port. It is situated in a unique location at the Præstø Fjord. A little outside of Præstø, you will find the Nysø Manor. It houses an interesting collection of works by the Danish sculptor Thorvaldsen, including his plaster sculptures, clay models and drawings. Do not miss a visit to Mons Klint, with unique white chalk cliffs that rise up majestically from the turquoise green sea. The Liselund park nearby also houses the famous little rococo palace and a church with world-famous medieval frescoes. The city of Holme Olstrup is located nearby and hosts the amusement park, Bonbon-Land.
