This cosy farmhouse on Tåsinge is located near Skovballe Harbour. Experience the activities of the local fishermen bringing home their catch. You can paddle your kayaks, enjoy wind surfing and also bring along your own boat. Tåsinge, which is on the eastern side of the island, is just like a paradise with a nature reserve that has a rich birdlife. Valdemar's Castle is located on the west coast and so is Landet Kirke, where you can find the burial sites of Elvira Madigan and Sixten Sparre. A modern zoological museum and a marina are located in Svendborg. Svendborg Centre is nice and attractive. Rudkøbing is particularly worth a visit. The beautiful hills of Langeland were called "Maiden's Bosom" by Grundtvig. You can encounter a fascinating maritime history on the Aero Island. Visit Egeskov Castle as well as the nice Faaborg with a good painting and sculpture museum in Funen. The Zoo in Odense is worth visiting.
