The private garden behind the house has a covered terrace. From here you have direct access to the forest. Firewood can be sourced within the property and is chargeable. The 164 hectare big lake Slivsø which is not far away from the beach Tormaj is the third largest lake in South Jutland (Südjütland). In this lake 180 species of birds, including the white-tailed eagle and the kingfisher can be spotted. The bass, pike and zander can be caught from the fish filled lake. Beach Djernæs near the holiday property is particularly family-friendly because of the calm waters of the Little Belt strait. The charming centre with a cathedral is located in Haderslev. Also visit the Dampark in the city centre. The Gråsten Castle in the south is the royal family's summer residence. Just continue south and you will reach Sønderborg, which is beautifully situated on the Flensburg Firth (Flensburg Fjord) along Als. Sønderborg has a beautiful harbour, lovely cafes, interesting Castles and the historical centre of Dybbøl. The Danfoss Universe, a science adventure centre is located on Als.
