The old Ringkøbing is a very cosy and well-preserved city, and is situated not far from the holiday park. The red-tiled roofs and lattice windows take you back to the ancient times. The central Ringkøbing dates back to the early 19th century. You can walk through many streets with old cobblestones and explore the lovely shops. Enjoy the pleasant atmosphere at the harbour and also the stunning sunset from the pier. You can also oversee the fjord from here. Visit the beautiful fishing village Hvide Sande. It is quite a different experience to watch the fishermen returning to the harbour with their catch here. You can swim and enjoy many leisure activities on either sides of the place. There is plenty of space for everyone here, young and old and even for those who are looking for recreation or sports activities. You will have access to the leisure centre Beach Bowl in Søndervig, where some activities can be used free of charge.
