Children can have fun and enjoy some exciting moments in the Odsherred Fire Museum. You can visit the Sjaelland Adventure Land located nearby, the galleries typical of Odsherred and the Dragsholm Palace built in the 13th century. Havnebyen is the only proper fishing harbour with boats and a small fish smoke house. Even fishermen on recreation can enjoy fishing in this region. You can go shopping and visit the coffee houses in Nykøbing Sjælland. Seal safaris are available in the harbour of Rorvig. You can sail from Rorvig to Hundested from where you can reach Copenhagen in just an hour by taking a ferry. Enjoy ferry rides from Havnsø to the small Islands of Sejerø and Nekselø. Sejerø offers a beautiful nature, megalithic tombs and a church with chalk paintings. Nekselø hosts a unique bird world and some excellent fishing grounds.
