This holiday home is a perfect base for a large family celebration. It is located in the harbour area of the idyllic fishing village of Thorsminde. A large family can also relax comfortably in this beautifully furnished house. Although the house can accommodate 50 people for family celebrations, there are bedding provisions only for 28. The recreation options include an activity room with pool table, table tennis and darts. You can also have the pleasure of a good massage in the large jacuzzi bath in front of the living room and enjoy the spectacular view of the harbour. A sauna is located on the terrace. Almost all the 16 bedrooms have en suite bathrooms. The area has white sandy beaches and excellent fishing spots as the city is located between the sea and the fjord. Thorsminde is famous for its magnificent white beaches and is also a historically important place. One of the worst maritime disasters took place in 1811 when two English ships sank in this location, killing 1,400 people. The relics from the two sunken ships have been used to recreate the disaster at Strandingsmuseum. Do visit the museum to experience history at close quarters. Round off your visit by taking a look at the cemetery of Harboøre. Six major monuments narrate the events which resulted in the complete destruction of the ships.
