Other attractions include the famous North Sea Oceanarium in Hirtshals, which boasts a number of interesting aquariums and a large 'sealarium'. The Hirtshals Fun Park offers numerous children's activities including horseshoe and lasso throwing, pony riding, train rides, and bow and arrow shooting. The park also includes many animal species which the kids are allowed to pet. Located close to the village of Tuen, Eagle World is another popular attraction where you can encounter some of the world's most impressive birds of prey at close quarters - and see them feeding in the air. Here, you are just 30 kilometres from the picturesque Skagen Peninsula, where attractions include Grenen, where the Skagerrak and Kattegat Sounds meet. Those interested in art will enjoy visiting Skagen Museum, which houses a large collection of paintings by the many artists who have been inspired by this magical region, which is characterised by the sea and the traditional fishing industry that still supports many local inhabitants.
