This gorgeous and spacious holiday home is located in the quaint fishing village of Lild Strand where fishing has been carried on for generations. The pool and the living room are heated with an energy-saving heat pump. The pool has a counter-current system and invites you to take a refreshing swim followed by deep relaxation in the whirlpool or sauna. You can enjoy the lovely warm summer days on the patio right in front of your doorstep. The house is centrally located. It is just 150 metres away from the North Sea and 50 metres away from the church and the old lifeboat station. The place where the fishing boats are hauled ashore in the evening is located 100 metres away. You can buy freshly caught fish here. The beach at Lild is known as a rich fishing ground and depending on the season, flatfish and cod can be caught here. The wide sandy beach at Bulbjerg is definitely worth a visit. Here you will find the 47 metre high limestone cliff of Bulbjerg, the only bird cliff in Denmark where rare species of birds breed. The visitors can enjoy a breathtaking view from here. On a clear day you can see the Vigsoe Bay and Hanstholm to the west and the entire Jammerbugten up to Rubjerg Knot in the east. At the foot of the slope you will find fossilised sea urchins and other fossils. Lild beach is adjacent to the largest nature reserve of Denmark, a vast dune area covered with heather, brackish water lakes, heathland and forests, all of which offer unique nature experiences. Vejlerne, a 6000-hectare bird sanctuary, is also located nearby, where you can observe the species-rich bird life from many vantage points on the embanked area. Remember to carry your binoculars with you.
