This holiday house is located in a small village west of Silkeborg and close to the waters of the Silkeborg lake system. The area is very popular because of the many lakes here. You can take a trip on one of the two canoes belonging to the house and enjoy the scenery from the water. Spend the beautiful evenings on the terrace, which offers lovely views of the water and the beech woods. Here you can spend a wonderful holiday near the beach and also visit the museums in the city and appreciate the culture of the region. Your children will certainly love to visit the Aqua Aquarium and the zoo. Djurs Summerland and Legoland are also located quite close by. The area has several lakes and is therefore a paradise for anglers. You can enjoy several activities in the woods such as mountain biking, geocaching and much more. Enjoy a leisurely stroll through the streets of Silkeborg, which has many interesting shops. You can go on a cruise on the steamer Hjejlen. On the way you can disembark and climb Himmelbjerget if you so wish. After you come back to the city, you can visit one of the many restaurants serving traditional Danish dishes and international cuisine in the vicinity of the old paper mill.
