This well-equipped house with a lot of charm is located in a beautiful area and offers a wonderful view of the Roskilde Fjord. The nearby beach at the fjord is shallow and is particularly well suited for children. The house is ideal for families with children or couples, who will enjoy walking on the several hiking trails that pass through the woods and along the water. The town of Hundested with good shopping areas is located just 4 km away from the holiday home. Many interesting events are also conducted here. The attractive harbour also houses several fish shops, sea food restaurants and a flea market. You will even find a glass factory there. This fertile region is well suited for growing vegetables. In Lynæs there is a store that sells the produce from the farms in the area. The forest of Nordskoven, where you will find the famous old oaks - the oldest living things in Denmark - is located within walking distance of the house. You can enjoy biking in this beautiful, green landscape with well marked routes. The large Karlsminde Cliffs rise up to a height of 33 metres where the Roskilde fjord meets Isefjorden. These cliffs facing south are located a few kilometres east of Lynæs Havn. At the foot of cliffs, anglers cast their rods and wait patiently for a bite. From the top of the cliff you can enjoy a spectacular view of the Isefjord and the northern part of the Roskilde Fjord. On a clear day you can see the Kyndby-electric power station in the south and the DanSteel steelworks in Frederiksværk to the north. From April to September you can ride on the Kulhus ferry Columbus, between Sølager and Kulhuse. The amusement park Sommerland Sjælland is very close to Hundested. Tivoli in Copenhagen is only 50 km away.
