Wadden Sea is located right outside the door, which is one of the most important marshlands of Europe and one of the most important nature reserves of Denmark. This is a landscape with marshlands, beach, meadows, dunes and an incredibly diverse birdlife. You can view the island of Sylt located at a distance. The idyllic harbour of Havneby and its small fish shops and frequent ferries to Sylt are available on one side of the house, just 100 metres away. Various restaurants, golf courses and tennis courts are located on the other side. There are several nature trails along the extension of the boardwalk that start right from the house and run through marshlands and dams. The beautiful Sonderstrand, one of the widest beaches of Europe and with diverse offers for recreational activities, is located just 2 km from the house. This region also offers various opportunities to explore the unique nature of Romo. You can also take a trip on ferries (Romo-Sylt ferry) to the Island of Sylt.
