A place where you can discover yourself!! Located in the picturesque village Aymanam (land of five forests), which is also formed the background for Arundhati Roy's Booker prize winning novel `The God of Small Things'. This 100 years old homestay is situated amidst the dense green canopy of mangosteen, nutmeg, jack-fruit, rambuttan trees and also organic vegetable garden.
The air itself is full of promise, fragrant with the myriad scents of fruit and flowering trees. All-round is peace and stillness. A river flows slowly past, snatches of sunlight shimmer off the water. This is Maya, a heaven away from clocks and calendar, a place where time is in no hurry. The homestay is enriched with large courtyard, full of lush agriculture in three sides and river (Meenachil) in front.
We serve all the variety and richness of traditional Kerala cuisine with farm fresh products. And also we organize cooking lessons for the guests at the homestay.
The homestay shall be rented out to family with children / couples / friends group etc. on daily or on short term rental basis. The entire house & its premises will be for the exclusive use of the guests. A personal cook, housekeeping staff, local guide, watchman (with family) will be at service for the guests. The guest fee includes all meals, coffee, tea, mineral water, self-kitchen facility etc. Cooking lessons (Syrian Christian dishes) & local guiding can be also included upon request, without extra cost.
The homestay has two tastefully restored Air-Conditioned guest rooms, spacious modern bathrooms, period furniture and accessories THAT create an ambiance that transports guests back to time when life was slow and easy. The homestay is enriched with large courtyard, full of lush agriculture in three sides and river (Meenachil) in front. The owners are keen to maintain an organic vegetable farm within the premises of homestay, and guests are offered meals with farm fresh products.

Stringent: No charges will be levied if booking is canceled 61 days prior to check-in. If cancellation is done between 30 to 60 days prior to check-in, 50% of the total booking amount will be charged. Post that, there will be no refund.
