Hejlsminde is located in the Little Belt in a beautiful area near the forest, beach, interesting sights and beautiful natural landscapes. The town has a cosy harbour. You can enjoy lovely views of Funen from several places. There are many walking and cycling paths here which offer beautiful experiences. The beautiful nature reserve of Skamlingsbanken is located quite close to Hejlsminde. The town of Christiansfeld (UNESCO World Heritage Site) is known throughout the country for its honey cakes, tiled ovens and salami. In Kolding you can enjoy a variety of activities depending on your taste - a holiday with children, a holiday filled with activities or an art and cultural holiday. You can visit the art museum Trapholt, Koldinghus and the pedestrian streets with cosy cafe atmosphere. Enjoy power shopping at the Kolding Storcenter with many shops under one roof. You can also visit the amusement park, which offers a lot of free rides.
