In our house security is our first preoccupation: a member of the family is always around to protect our propriety. The big garden surrounding our house is an ideal place where children can freely and safely play around and anyone can seat under the shadow of some trees and relax, if not interested to go or stay longtime laying on the near beach, where unfortunately some people seems to have had problems caused by sand flies. Anyhow, at an easy walk -able distance, from the main road there are many bus, so that it is possible to reach the most popular beaches, along the coast and to Hikkaduwa, at a very reasonable price.There is a Commercial Center not too far from our house, where you can do all the shopping you need and at a fair distance you can buy daily fresh fishes, since Dodanduwa is a well known fishing village. In Hikkaduwa, easily reachable by bus, there is a big super market, where you can find all sort of goods. With public transport you can go anywhere and you don't have to use tuc-tuc, an expensive mean of transport, for tourists, if you have to use them every day for several times.
If you can't or don't want to go to restaurant, our kitchen is particularly fully equipped for cooking easily and quickly: a new multifunction microwave oven, a pressure cooker, a gas stove, a spacious fridge and many other devices are at your disposal. If requested a lady can cook local food for 700,000 Rp.
Anyhow, our family is always ready and prepared to answer to any needs or suggestions of our guests.
The house has several ceiling fans, which can keep a right temperature, if necessary. There is free Wifi in all the house and also outside in the garden.
Guests have three bedrooms, all with mosquito nets and are provided with essential but functional furniture, a comfortable sitting room, a dining room and a spacious bathroom.
Sheets and towels will be changed regularly on requests, in any case a washing machine can be used at any time. General cleaning can be done every week end, when requested.
We are always glad to have the opportunity to meet people from all over the world and our family will try to satisfy the expectations of our guests and do what is possible for a pleasant holiday in our house
