The villa is situated in close proximity to Mahiyanagaya Town. It is a newly built luxury hotel that is sited in leafy, eco-friendly spot.
Tikiri Villa is built on the right bank of the ancient Minipe Yoda Ela (canal), which is the main waterway of the Mahaweli Irrigation System. Overlooking the lush paddy fields it is completely surrounded by thick foliage which is a bird watcher's paradise. The surroundings are peaceful and devoid of noise, pollution, dust and human activity. Guests are free to relax and unwind and enjoy the best of nature such as bird watching, listening (and identifying) bird calls while while inhaling the clean, pure, fresh air that blows in from the paddy field.

Jogging on the cana bund, bird watching and mountain trekking. Wasgamuwa wild life sanctuary is 2 hours drive from the villa. Dambana Vedda's village (the Sri Lankan aborigine) 30 mnts drive from the villa. Dunhinda water falls - 2 hours drive from the villa. The well known ancient Sorabara Tank (built by one man) 50 minutes drive from the villa. The world renowned Arugam Bay, a surfer's paradise is just 3 hours drive from the villa.Tours can be arranged to Arugam Bay and Pasikuda Beaches.
