There are also good conditions for swimming & fishing closeby, e.g. the nice beach by Bjønntjønn, where you may catch trout and perch (fishing licence mandatory). In the winter time, there are great cross country tracks leading just outside the cabin door, and the skiing centre Gautefall Alpinanlegg is not far away.
