The Ferreira House is a heritage-listed family home in Khotachiwadi, South Mumbai.
It is the home of Indian fashion icon and pioneer, James Ferreira, who still lives here.
Part of a Mumbai Heritage area, this 200-year-old bungalow houses three individual bedrooms, the main bathroom and an ensuite, a lounge and a small garden.
Situated just 20 km from Mumbai's International and domestic airports, we are close to various vegetarian and non-vegetarian restaurants, shopping and tourist hot spots with easy access to all forms of transport.

Historical walk suggested after 20:00hrs, due to less traffic and the buildings all lit up at night

Take a taxi along Jagannath Shankar Seth road (JSS) heading towards Bombay south and you will pass Wadia fire temple and Parsee fire temple on your right; get off at Metro Cinema & walk along Mahapalika Marg. On the left is St Xavier’s college and Municipal Corp of Greater Bombay on your right is Azad Maidan reaching Victoria Terminus now known as Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaaj Trminus which is a magnificent building then to Mumbai Post Office, you can turn around and walk on Dr. Dadabhai Naoriji Rd to Flora Fountain take a left along Veer Nariman road towards Horniman Circle and on your right is St Thomas Cathedral finally to Asiatic Library ; walk back around Horniman circle and onto Homi Modi Street and passing Bombay House the seat of the TATA empire taking a left onto Mahatma Gandhi Rd and on your right you will see University of Mumbai Fort Campus, David Sassoon Library & Reading Room, Elphinstone College, National Gallery of Modern Art upto Wellington Fountain, past Regal Cinema pop by at Mondegar café or Leopold café for a beer on Colaba causeway , then finally tuen around towards Gate way of India and Taj Mahal Hotel ; you could then head back via Madame cama rd and onto Karamveer Bhaurao Patil Marg passing the Mumbai City Civil & Sessions Court, Bombay High Court and Rajabhai Clock Tower, finally take a taxi back to The Ferreira residence via Marine Drive or also known as Queens Necklace.
