There are two patio areas, a games room for playing cards or board games and the peaceful pond area shared with the owner for duck watching. Périgueux, the capital of the Dordogne and a charming city, with shops, restaurants, museums and the Cathedral Saint Front which is similar in style to the Sacré Coeur in Paris is 9km drive. Brantôme, which is known as the Venice of the Perigord with the river Dronne encircling the island town and with the huge Abbey on its banks and bustling market on Fridays is 34km drive. Saint Jean de Cole which is classified one of the prettiest villages in France is 35km drive. Other nearby attractions include Le Grotte de Villars, a magnificent prehistoric cave with underground galleries and the majestic Chateau de Puyguilhem. The house is close to Bassillac airport with regular flights to Paris. The pond located 30m away from the house has lots of frogs in April.
