Cool Pines Cabin is located deep in the forest, just 25 minutes south of downtown Prescott at an altitude of 6800 feet. This property is just 7 miles from Lynx Lake, which is well-stocked with fish and hosts a cafe, store, and marina (rent paddle, row, and small electric boats). The cabin sleeps up to 13 guests (2 in master, 4 in a loft and 7 in a large bedroom). The master bedroom has a queen bed and a full bath with tub/shower. You will find a king bed in the upstairs loft, along with a futon - which can be converted into a full-size bed. There is also a Smart TV and a full bath with shower in the loft. An additional hall/powder room is located on the main floor. In a newly constructed addition to this cozy cabin, you will find the convenience of a mudroom which allows you to strategically store coats, shoes, boots, and more. It even has a dog wash for those days when a nature hike gets a little too messy for you and/or your furry friend. Directly adjacent to the mudroom is a large camp-style bedroom which can accommodate up to 7 people. You will find 2 twin beds which can convert into 2 king size beds by pulling them out. There are also 2 additional twin beds with a trundle bed underneath one. There is another large, Smart TV located in this room as well. The living room has a large sectional leather couch, high vaulted ceiling, and is decorated with a welcoming "cottage in the woods" feel. There is a wood burning fireplace for guests to gather around in the cool evenings. A 50 LED TV has HD DIRECTV and is located in the living room. High-speed internet brings a modern convenience for your stay. Apple TV, DVD, CD/radio player and lots of books, games, music CDs and puzzles make relaxing easy in the tall pines location. The cabin has a lot of brochures and information packets for the Prescott area. A fully-equipped, galley kitchen makes meals and snacks a breeze and includes a dishwasher. A washer/dryer adds convenience for longer stays. The Arizona room leads to a brand new, extra-large deck on the south side of the cabin. There are two tables (6-seat & 4-seat tables) ready to be used by friends and family for a delightful outdoor dining experience. Additionally, on the west side of the cabin, you will find a smaller deck which hosts a picnic table to seat 6. A propane grill is provided for outdoor cooking. A house phone can be used for local and US long distance calls, but most cell phones have adequate reception. There is evaporative cooling in the cabin, which keeps it comfortable. Natural cooling, by opening windows at night and closing them during the day, lets the wonderful smell of the pines inside.
RO (reverse osmosis) water is available in the kitchen, and is fine for cooking - but most guests prefer to bring bottled water to drink. There is also a water softener which makes the hard well water more pleasant for bathing. Fire danger is a big concern for local residents. Cool Pines Cabin is a non-smoking cabin inside and out. Although pets are allowed on this property we prefer that you don't bring a lot of animals and that the dogs are on the smaller size. Of course, all pet policies are strictly enforced. ATV riding is allowed by you must stay on the roads! Enjoy the full Tall Pine Prescott experience in this lovely property! This property does allow dogs. Dogs are $15 per dog per night plus tax. There is also a flat $10 dog fee which is given to the housekeeper.

After you book please disclose how many dogs you are bringing and provide a credit card or e-check information to be charged accordingly.

Pets are allowed but guests must be very considerate. No accidents, no damage, no poop and no hair. You must cover beds and furniture if you are allowing the pets to jump up. You might consider bringing your own vacuum to make sure there isn’t any hair left behind. If left alone in the accommodation we ask that they are crated if there is a risk of damage or accidents. There shouldn’t be excessive barking that would disturb the neighborhood.

This vacation rental is in a neighborhood with permanent residents. Your right to use this privately owned home is conditional on not disturbing the neighborhood. If the owner or Prescott Cabin Rentals receives complaints regarding noise, activities or trespassing that disturbs neighbors you may be asked to leave immediately. No outside noise or music after 10 pm.

Please disclose how many dogs you are bringing. Dogs are $15 per dog per night plus tax. There is also a $10 flat dog fee. This $10 dog fee goes directly to the Housekeeper when she cleans after guests with dogs.

Check-in starts at 4 pm. If you would like to check-in early you must contact me. Early check-ins are granted the night before or the morning of the check-in. There may be a charge if it is a large property. The same with late check-outs. You must request this the night before or morning of the check-out.

Smoking is only allowed outside.
