The cottage consists of a pleasantly furnished lounge and open plan kitchen opening out onto a deck, which overlooks the garden and waterways, with the mountains in the background. The kitchen has stove, fridge, microwave, toaster and kettle. The lounge has a Tv, dvd player and dvds. There is wifi and heating. Secure parking is provided on the property behind double gates.
The double bedroom opens into the ensuite bathroom with very large shower.
There is a weber barbeque, large swimming pool and pedalo boat. The bird life is varied and plentiful. There are no mosquitoes as the waterway is part of the Zandvlei Wetlands Nature Reserve, which is an estuarine system.
Marina da Gama is a few kilometers from the beaches and surf of Muizenberg. There are shops, coffee shops and restaurants in the area. Large numbers of surfers frequent the area and there are many surfing schools. It is also a safe swimming beach with lovely white sands. From Muizenberg the road follows the coastal villages and towns to Cape Point.
All Cape Town's tourist attractions can be reached easily from here.
