Freeport in Montego Bay is an Island built mainly for tourism.
As a tourist enclave, it has the best hotels in St. James,
and other aspects of the tourist experience such as
shopping, cruise ship visiting and yachting.
This is where we have located our two bedroom apartment and
made it available to guests as a two BR unit.
Baypointe is elegant yet friendly.
Gated with elegant gardens and pools, It is also within easy walking access to beaches and the famous Montego Bay Yacht Club.
The Space:
There are about 50 apartments in this complex, which are ringed around two large pools connected by a silver stream.
Around is grass and attractive trees that lend grace and charm to the place.
In the corner, right on the sea, is a gazebo that looks at serenely at folks milling around the cruise terminal, and the busy hubbub at the
constantly busy Yacht Club next door and the newly renovated beach club has open under Hard Rock Cafe Franchise.
Our closest neighbour is the Sunset Jamaica Grande, and right up the streets is Secrets, another well known hotel.
Guest Access:
Guest would have access to the entire apartment which includes Living room, kitchen and of course their room.
They have access to the pool and beach.
Interaction with Guests:
I am available for advice and assistance in matters arising out of my listings.
I can also provide more general advice if asked.
I can be easily contacted via the message stream and also via telephone.
There is a team, however, that works directly with this service
They too are ready to help at any given time.
The Neighborhood:
This is one of the most expensive and luxurious communities
in the Island of Jamaica.
All around you will be surrounded by the sea and by
elegant dwellings and apartment complexes.
There is a strong security presence, mainly arising from the need to protect our tourists, who are the most important foreign asset that we Jamaicans possess
Getting Around:
Freeport is about 15 minutes away from Montego Bay Airport.
Taxis are readily available, and you can rent a car
quite easily these days.
The apartment has free protected parking
right in front of it.
Other Things to Note:
Guest would be given a Resident Card which allow all occupants free access to Hard Cafe. Each card allows free entry for 1-4 persons.
You must always present your resident card along with a valid ID card in order to gain free access.
With this card you can enjoy the beach at no cost, However, if you would like beach chairs or beach umbrellas an additional cost of $4.00 each will apply, if you like both a cost of $6.00 will apply.
Also with this card, you will also receive a 10% discount on Food and Beverage. This discount cannot be applied to Limited Time Offers, merchandise, or be used in combination with any other discount offer you may receive.
If you lose or damage your resident card, a USD $20.00 fee is applicable for replacement.
Please note that this listing does not come with any form of a meal plan and also that the host is not required to supply groceries to the guest.
Commencing November 2017, we will be providing our guests with local phone, including a small startup credit.
This is for them to use in the event of emergencies and as a local convenience.
These phones are provided FOC, and as a gesture of goodwill and concern for our guests.
Please note carefully however that should the phone be lost or damaged while it is in the guests possession, there will be a charge of US$100.00.
We intend to develop this property as a venue for various family
occasions, such as weddings, reunions, cocktail parties, Bar Mitzvahs etc.
We believe that with it's generous gardens, and evident beauty
all around you, this would be an excellent location for a
family celebration.
We are willing to assist you in organizing such a function.

Electricity is a huge expense in this big old house. We have routinely received bills exceeding US$1000.00 a month. We are "begging" our guests to have some pity on us!! It is especially galling to see all the airconditioners on full blast, and the guests are not even present in the property.
Please be informed that, in such a case, we will turn off the A/C s ourselves.

Non Refundable: This is the strictest clause. As soon the booking is confirmed & payment is accepted, booking becomes non-refundable. Zero amount will be refunded to the customer if she or he cancels the booking.
