A historic building on top of a hill at the foothills of Mt. Kilimanjaro commanding 360 Degree views of the surounding area.
Built in 1930's by Colonel Ewart Scott Grogan who came to fame when he walked from the Cape to Cairo in the late 1800's.
He later settled in the area and built this majestic building which he occupied until his retirement in South Africa. It is a haven of piece and quiet no loud or background music. A great Panorama all around, with a view of at least 70 miles.

The location is ideal as it is situated adjacent to Tsavo National one of the largest game reserves in Africa. It also adjoins with Lake Jipe which is World renounced for the largest Aquatic bird species found in one area.
There is Lake Chala about 20 kms. away which is a crater Lake with crystal clear water.
The Tanzania border is 15 kms. from the Castle one would like to travel to Tanzania.
