b'1940s riverside apartment'
Rental basis: Entire house or apartment
Number of bedrooms: 1; Number of other rooms with beds: 0
The 1940s apartment is quietly tucked away in the centre of the village.
It is the ground floor of an 18century Weavers Cottage
A paved garden overlooks the river, where you can sit and joy al fresco dining, when the weather permits. When it doesn’t, you can still enjoy the garden , lounging in comfortable chairs , from behind the large bi folds.
Filled with memorabilia from a bygone age, from medical paraphernalia, to jelly molds, teapots and egg coddlers
The bed was designed by the owner and made in Portugal by a German carpenter and a Russian metal work artisan, you will never sleep in another like it....quite literally in the world.
The shower room is a cosy subterranean vault, the faux wall covering imported from Spain. The shower cubicle itself was fashioned from a small cave like area, discovered during renovations.
There is so much to look and marvel over before even stepping out in to the beautiful surrounding countryside.
An all weather holiday home, cosy with underfloor heating in the winter and open to glorious sunshine in the summer.
