The cottage – set amid terraced fields at village Nathuakhan, 40 km ahead of Nainital, in the Himalayas – is surrounded by reserved pine forests on two sides, and quietude on all.
The cottage comprising four bedrooms with attached modern bathrooms, and a common dining area. It is surrounded by orchards and fields on all sides. You won’t get to hear the television here, but you can occasionally hear a cow mooing at a distance, or a cricket crooning right outside your window. On local festive occasions, the faded sounds of the dholak come wafting from the village temple, which is located at a half-hour trek from the cottage. The ambience can slowly help you become a resting Kumaoni villager with us.
The cottage has been constructed in the traditional method – with a tin roof, mud-plastered walls and stone floors. Each room has an open sit-out area.
The common dining area is where buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner are served. Rooms are available for the maids and drivers accompanying the guests. They will be charged a nominal sum for the stay and food.

Stringent: No charges will be levied if booking is canceled 61 days prior to check-in. If cancellation is done between 30 to 60 days prior to check-in, 50% of the total booking amount will be charged. Post that, there will be no refund.
