This Cottage is a part of the boutique, one-of-a-kind residences set like a jewel up a winding road on the top of a hill in the Nilgiris- The Blue Mountains. It hearkens back to the Raj, the British Colonial-era nestled amidst green flowering meadows and forest with wild-flowers that burst out with a zillion colours against a palette of every shade of green nature ever contained. The birds will wake you up as the golden rays of sunshine bathe the whole cottage in warmth and the clouds melt pass over the jewel of a garden as though to bless all with the presence of divinity. From up on high you can look down the hills and valleys to see the winding tracks of the oldest narrow-gauge toy-train that whistles its way connecting the hills to the plains beyond. Enjoy shopping for fresh produce only minutes away and cook your own meals in the large open farm kitchen with the wood-burning fireplace or simply step-out to barbeque on a brick-kiln outside surrounded by the fruit orchard and fragrant herb garden.
Sip your wine or a cup of freshly brewed tea picked just days ahead just a few feet away from you. Bread, cheese, fruit, chocolates...all made fresh and locally every day await to pamper your senses.
Fancy a personal cook making your meals to order..then simply drop an email and it will all be arranged ahead of time. Wine and cheese included! Breakfast-in-bed or lunch and dinner in the garden under flowering trees.
