" Le Nid de la Petite France" ( " The Nest of the Petite France" ) is an adorable, lovely apartment in a 17th century house, in the medieval quarter of the city called " Petite France" ( = " little France" ) Unesco classified.
- The apartment has an area of 55 m2 and consists of an entrance, a kitchen, a bathroom, a livingroom and a bedroom separated from the living room by "open" beams and vetvet curtains.
- It is located on a 2nd floor (no lift). It is not overlooked and it is very bright.
It has 2 windows eastward, with a view on a waterway and a park, and 4 windows south overlooking a paved pedestrian square by the river.
Therefore, you will not be bothered by traffic noise eventhough we are in the center of the old city !
-the apartment was completely redecorated in the fall of 2010 by a decorator. The baroque-contemporary setting is warm, very comfortable and original.
-the situation of the flat is ideal: in the heart of historic "Petite France",
50 m from shops,
3 minutes walk from the business center,
700 m from the cathedral,
500 m from the train station.
- There is a queen-bed in the bedroom ( 1:60m X 2m) , and a couch in the living-room ( 1x2m) for a third person.
-for your first night, so you do not necessarily move out to take your next morning breakfast
and in order to enjoy the view at the coffee table, we offer:
-2 Pods Nespresso coffee per person
-Teabags
-Chocolate powder
- milk
- individually wrapped butter portions (in the fridge)
- housemate marmelade, cheese, fruits, fruitjuice, cookies,
-Cereals in individual doses,
-Sugar
-Bread in individual packages (like cracker) to avoid going out to buy bread.
But if you would like fresh bread, there are 2 home-made bakeries 3 minutes walk from the house
(open every day except Sunday).
We will provide addresses of our favorite shops, restaurants and other places as well as emergency numbers, and a map of the city.
- Your arrival time in the apartment will be decided with me,
your check-out has to be at noon at the latest, in order for me to prepare for the next reservation.
This is a Non Smocking apartment. Thank you.
