The beautiful forest park Heivlinder, named after the Grayling, is located in the De Hoge Veluwe Nature Park. The holiday park was designed so that the original character of the wooded area remained largely intact. The forest park is adjacent to the Ermelo heath, where you can see shepherds with their herds everyday. From the park you can also walk to the Speulderbos and Sprielderbos forests and the famous 'dancing trees', a spectacle that you should not miss! The cottages were built in 2008. These houses can accommodate up to 4 people and have stylish and comfortable furnishings. They have two bedrooms, one with a double bed and another with a bunk bed. The bathroom and kitchen are modern. The exact layout and amenities may vary slightly depending on the apartment. Hand towels and tea towels can be rented. For a fee, your beds are made before you arrive and you can also order fresh bread for daily breakfast. Parking space is provided within the holiday park. The location is especially attractive for cyclists and hikers since there are many walking and cycling routes. Bikes can be rented directly at the park. The area is also ideal for those who love horses, water and golf. You can even bring your own horse to the park. The barns have been recently renovated and each horse will have its own pasture. You can plan trips to several amusement and theme parks from here including the Dolfinarium in Harderwijk and Walibi World in Biddinghuizen. At the Royal Palace 't Loo you can experience first-hand details about how the royals and nobles lived in the past. There are excellent facilities in the region for sauna lovers, such as the wellness complexes of Zwaluwhoeve Source and the Veluwe.
