Millers cottage is an old stone cottage set in 18 acres of private grounds of the domaine of Seguinet.
New 7 by 3 m heated swimming pool with a large deck.
There are two bedrooms suitable for couples or a family.
There is a lake with fishing and a boat for your use. The grounds are well maintained with an orchard and areas set up for badminton, swings and table tennis. A games room is available.
It is close to bastide towns, vineyards and fabulous countryside. It has family-friendly activities, markets and restaurants.
The Millers Cottage is a very private stone cottage in the Domaine of Seguinet. The sits in the valley with views of the orchard and the lake. You can while away many an hour relaxing by the pool or having a glass of wine in the setting sun.
It is suitable for couples also, the two singles can be joined together to make a king size bed.
It is a perfect location to spend time just sitting back and relaxing by the pool or visiting and enjoying some of the beautiful bastide towns like Monpazier, Monflanquin and so on.
There are night markets in the months of July and August or day markets to buy local organic produce.
You can fish in the lake, the canal or the pond. There is trout, carp and catfish in the lake. The rivers Briolance and the Lemance border the property.
There are games like badminton, table tennis set up outdoors. There is also a games room with pool tables, darts and air hockey. There are swings for younger and older children.
We have six push bikes for adults and children that you can borrow.
We live on site and are available at hand to give you any information you require, but we also leave you in peace to enjoy your holiday.
We will be cleaning the pool in the mornings for your use. If you would like some company do join us for a drink or the patio. If you are a golfer my husband is more than happy to organise a golf game at Villeneuve Golf Club.
The village of Saint Front is just a few minute walk from the Domaine of Seguinet. The village has a little epicerie where you can pick your bread and croissants, besides basic necessities.
There is also a bar run by Albert and is a good place to practise your French.
You do need a car to get around. The closest train Station is 10 minutes away in Libos. The closest airport is Bergerac, which is 50 minutes away.
Toulouse and Bordeaux airports are two hours away.
We provide all bed linen and towels, including pool towels.
We also leave a booklet with lots of information on the area and things to do.
There are a lot of bodies of water so please supervise your children.
