The residence is located on monte Kronio, or San Calogero mountain, at about 5 km from Sciacca; mainly composed of limestone, it hosts a natural reserve. The museum Antiquarium and the termal caves are on the mount itself; the most known one is the "stufa di San Calogero" with its temperature varying from 36° and 42°C. The location of the house is then ideal for those who want to spend a relaxing holiday but also to visit the main interesting sites of Sicily. The beaches are only 4,5 km away. It is heartily recommended a visit to the basilica-santuario di San Calogero from 1530, the archeological sites in Selinunte (36km) and Scala dei Turchi- a rocky cliff between Realmonte and Porto Empedocle (51km).
