Much nicer than Denia etc. Here are the Pyrenees for hiking or skiing, museums in beautiful historic cities like Girona, Barcelona and Figueres. Nature reserves with the most diverse landscapes. The sun shines a lot and from February the temperature rises quickly.
Final cleaning is mandatory. The room must be swept clean, the garbage in the designated rubbish containers and bins must be empty. Refrigerator and freezer must be empty and cleaned.
The apartment is close to Platja Riells. The promenade on the beach is lively with nice shops, little cafes and restaurants. The historic center of L'Escala is located within walking distance. A little further next L'Escala are the famous excavations of Empúries. These are very worth to visit. If you like horseback riding is also possible, there is a riding school at the entrance to the village boundary. In the cultural field is a lot to do with its Museo Dalí Figueres, Girona with its beautiful cathedral and a little further course Barcelona with Gaudi.
Sports, there's a lot possible. Watersports Sea like canoeing, jet-skiing, scuba diving or snorkeling. Excellent bike paths to the beach of Sant Pere Pescador, where you can kite surfing, wind surfing or just soaking up the sun.
Moreover Girona Airport is 40 minutes from L'Escala.
