Perfect for family getaways, the house caters for 10 guests in 3 bedrooms and a large loft room.
The lower level consists of a master bedroom with double bed and two twin rooms, each having 2 single beds. There are two bathrooms on this level. Upstairs is the "rumpus room" which has 4 single beds in a spacious loft area and a bathroom with shower.
The kitchen is fully equipped with modern amenities and there is a Weber braai for outdoor cooking on those long lazy Summer evenings. The garden also boasts an enclosed Fire-pit which is perfect for beach house bonfires while stargazing over the Indian ocean or watching fireworks over the Bay on New Year's Eve. If you are not keen on cooking, The Lookout Deck, Equinox and Lemongrass restaurants are a 2 minute stroll across the beach away
The living room is spacious and comfortable and flows into the indoor and outdoor dining areas. We have decided not to install a Tv system as the emphasis is on enjoying the great outdoors, but there is Wi-fi available for the techies.
Indoor and outdoor spaces are seamlessly linked while at the same time perfectly safe and secure. All windows and doors have slide-away shutters for ease of use and peace of mind when you are out and about exploring. The entire property is access controlled with remotely operated gates and security alarm. Access to the beach is via a private locked security gate literally on your doorstep.
Although The PlettShed is a fully self-catered accommodation, every care has been taken to ensure that the transition from travelling to settling in is as seamless as possible. Complementary toiletries are provided, and guests can expect fresh milk, tea, ground coffee and sugar on arrival. Towels, bed linen, crockery, cutlery and kitchen utensils are all included as is a housekeeping service twice a week.
Whether you choose to spend your holiday beach-combing for pansy shells, strolling along the lagoon, whale watching or to use the house as a base to explore the varied activities on offer in Plettenberg Bay, we are sure that you will enjoy an unforgettable and magical stay in The PlettShed and look forward to welcoming you!
