The ferry port of Caen-ouistreham is 1 1/4 hours away, St Malo is 1 1/2 hours away and Cherbourg is 2 hours. Calais and the Euro Tunnel are approximately a 5 hour drive
The house is close to the village center, you can find a boulangerie and a bar across the street. At 2.5km you will find the town of mortain where you will have a shopping center Aldi and carrefour. Several restaurants and bars. Burgers "atelier du chef" on (Hidden by Airbnb) in the center of town on Tuesday nights, a Chinese caterer on Friday night (6pm to 8pm). In July on Thursdays music nights near the swimming pool. Don't miss the view from "la petite chapelle" in mortain, on clear days you will be able to see the Mont St Michel from a distance. We are situated about 55 min from the Mont st Michel. Don't miss the northern Monaco Granville, 1 hour, it's a delightful seaside city.
Avranches is a beautiful town 35 minutes away. Jullouville is a beautiful beach at 54min, even when the weather is bad you can walk miles. Carolles plage and it's view on st michel is great and 54min also.
