The mountain lakes offers good fishing. Trips to Vikastølen, Åkrastølen and Svelgabreen in Blådalen is recommended; Blådalen is a part of Folgefonna national park. Only a little drive to the boat place by the fjord, and only a ten minutes drive to a nice, sandy beach with a barbeque place. 45 minutes drive to Husnes; there you can find shopping, tennis- and goldcourt. Baroniet Rosendal from 1664 is only a 30 minutes drive from the holiday home; here is a beautiful landscape park, Steinparken (stone park) and a putball court. Recommended is also a fjordcruise to Bergen or drives along the spectacular Hardangerfjorden with Folgefonna, Trolltunga and Mikkelparken amusement park. In the winter it is only 20 minutes by car to Fjellhaugen alpin.
