Because of its perfect location, in the heart of Havana, on Neptuno street, walking you can visit many places of interest: the University of Havana (staircase), Hotel Habana Libre, corner 23 and L, Jardines del Hotel Nacional, Paseo del Malecón, Callejón de Hammel, Palacio de la Rumba and numerous cafés, shops, money exchange offices, bars and state and private discos.
About 15 minutes on foot is Old Havana, where you can visit museums, visit very old buildings, as well as fortresses that in other centuries protected the walled part of the city.
You can also visit other emblematic places such as the Museum of the Revolution, the National Capitol of Cuba, the Royal Partagás Tobacco Factory, the National Museum of Fine Arts, the Paseo de Martí, or the Castle of San Salvador de La Punta.
The Hostel is located in Neptuno, an important avenue of Havana and one of the main avenues for collective taxis (almendrones) and urban buses that connect travelers with any place of interest in the city. The almendrones (almost always old American cars) will take you for less than 0.50 ctvs and will share the trip with all the occupants that can fit and go to their destination.
If you wish, you can request a private taxi, the owners will offer you guidance on which is the best way to move.
It is very easy and cheap to move from Centro Habana to any place in Havana.
