available as guest rooms.
It stands in a large garden, with a swimming pool and many other charms.
We are especially pleased with our roses which we believe helps define the charm of the location
The gardens are landscaped, and efforts have been made to create a sanctuary for birds and butterflies.

The Space:
It has an sanctuary where birds are free
to come and go and feed as they please.
Avalon is within a safe community a 5 min walk from a major highway where taxis are available, renting a car would be a better option though because it increase your mobility.
Its very close to the town of Ocho Rios a 10 min drive which Ocho Rios is known for the many attractions for e.g Dunn's River Falls, Mystic Mountain and a lot more attractions you could enjoy for your vacation.
Guest Access:
We have dogs, as a security measure, and also as pets.
During the day they will be penned in an enclosed private garden ( The Bird garden)... but at night, on occasion, they will be out in the wider lawns.
Interaction with Guests:
I am easily contacted so any issues that comes up pertaining to my property I could give advice I also live in Ocho Rios so I am close by.
I have colleagues also who assist me in this operation, they also would be willing to assist in any matter that arises during your stay.
The Neighborhood:
Jamaica Beach is a safe and prosperous community, located about 6 miles East of Ochos Rios.
It is a safe and scenic area where many of the houses are on the sea front.
There is a shopping mall about 5 minutes walk away, which is also where the police
regional headquarters are located.
I have lived in the area for many years,
and find it to be a quiet, safe, attractive and
convenient location.
Getting Around:
A few minutes away from the house is the main road (O.Rios to Oracabessa) from which all kinds of transportation can be obtained.
You can also rent a car.. which many people are choosing to do, these days.
There is in-house parking available in such a case.
The general location makes it convenient for our guests to enjoy, easily, all the attractions and sights that St. Ann and St. Mary can provide.
Other Things to Note:
PLEASE NOTE: THERE IS NO LIFEGUARD ON DUTY! TAKE DUE PRECAUTION ESPECIALLY FOR KIDS!
Please note that this listing does not come with any form of a meal plan and also that the host is not required to supply groceries to the guest.
The initial cleaning that we provide our guests is charged for as part of the original booking.
New cleanings are very easy to arrange!
All you have to do is ask for a fresh cleaning and one will be provided at the same cost as the first.
Electricity is a huge expense in this big old house. We have routinely received bills exceeding US$1000.00 a month. We are "begging" our guests to have some pity on us!! It is especially galling to see all the airconditioners on full blast, and the guests are not even present in the property.
Please be informed that, in such a case, we will turn off the A/C s ourselves.

Non Refundable: This is the strictest clause. As soon the booking is confirmed & payment is accepted, booking becomes non-refundable. Zero amount will be refunded to the customer if she or he cancels the booking.
