"Laundry 1" it's a sweet newly refurbished apartment located on the ground floor of an early 900s Florentine building. It's located in a strategic position at the doors of the city centre and it can be a perfect departure point to explore Florence and the folkloristic neighbourhood of Sant'ambrogio.the comfort and the brightness of the space together with the access to an internal courtyard create an opportunity for the guest to relax and enjoy a silent and calm environment.
The apartment is directly connected to a courtyard/garden with a separate access to the street (with more two apartment). The space has been converted from an ex lighting factory and the contemporary design is characterized by industrial elements to recall the previous function.
The apartment can host 2-4 people and it's equipped with a queen bed 160x190cm and an sofà bed in the Living Room . There is a spacious toilet with shower and a fully equipped kitchen in the living room Free Wi-fi available together with air conditioning and heating.
The guests have access to free Wi Fi with all the equipment in the apartment and to the shared courtyard.
I work in a lighting shop in front the Studio. My mother lives next to it, always available for any necessity, even though she does not speak English.
The neighboured is characterised by a typical Florentine atmosphere, lived by local people and no filled up with tourist. Always alive at any time of the day, from the morning with the folkloristic Sant Ambrogio market to the night, where is possible to find live music spot and nice bars. Even the English prince Carlo recently visited the renowned dining Teatro del Sale, that I suggest as a culinary experience.
In Piazza Beccaria (100 mt from the room) you can find an electric mini_bus C2 that drives you directly to the city centre and other busses to reach other places, including out of town locations.
