Welcome to this beautiful holiday home, situated by the fjord between Tjörn, Orust and Stenungsund. The house has a delightful garden, with plenty of outdoor furniture, and it is located only a kilometre from the sea. This is the perfect base for exploring the beautiful west coast and the archipelago.
The house is a former school house and features a charming living room with an open fireplace. Theres a small kitchen with the basic equipment. Theres also one bedroom on the bottom floor. It is equipped with a double bed, a wood-burning stove, and a TV. The bathroom has a WC, a washbasin, and a shower. A steep set of stairs takes you up to the mezzanine where you will find four beds.
The sea is only a kilometre away and the closest bathing spot is two kilometres away. The holiday home is surrounded by scenic nature, perfect for long walks. The landlord has three bicycles that you may borrow. The nearest town is Varekil, 7 kilometres away.
The area has a number of interesting places to visit, such as the beautiful islands of Tjörn and Orust. Orust offers a variety of activities, such as kayak paddling, diving, fishing, and golfing. There are many charming little seaside towns within driving distance, and you mustnt miss visiting the beautiful islands Gullholmen and Käringön. In the middle of Orust you will find the shoppers paradise, Göksäter, also worth a visit! The city of Göteborg is only 75 kilometres away.
Tjörn is also well worth a visit. The town of Skärhamn has plenty of restaurants, shops, entertainment and culture. There is, for instance, a lovely art museum specialising in contemporary art, especially aquarelles.
