Karla caves is one of the oldest examples of the Buddhist dynasty in India. The entrance of the cave is majestic shaped in structure like a horseshoe. A base structure of a water jar and a charming facade made of wood is in the main cave Chaitya which has 37 pillars. The elegant Buddhist sculptures give the caves a charming personality.

Bushi Dam is situated behind the hilly terrains and between Lonavala and I.N.S Shivaji. It offers a scenic view to the visitors in the months of summer when the water gushes out of the dam in rapid speed. The tourists come over to experience the waterfalls and the mesmerising view that the dam offers. Swimming is allowed in the dam but is restricted during monsoons due to precautionary reasons.

Lohagad fort of Iron fort is the most amazing fort for sightseeing. Located between the twin hill-stations namely Lonavala and Khandala, the Lohagad fort is an extremely pleasant place to visit.

Bhairi cave located on the hill above the rocks of Kamshet. It is believed that the practice of animal sacrificing still takes place in this cave. There are utensils kept open in the cave. It is an old saying that the one who tries to steal the utensils will be punished by Goddess Bhairi of this cave.
