This room has beautiful windows, and they reveal a world of fun and beauty.
It looks at the pool, the garden, our bird cage and a fountain, where water flows all the time. and gives us the sounds of nature.
We have doves and pigeons in our cage, and their cooing is the constant sound you will hear in the mornings, along with the cool breeze.
On the other side lies the pool with its own fun and excitement.
The flowers give off fragrance especially as night falls upon the Island.
The Space:
This house is very charming with an unusual shape and a friendly vibe.
Its located in a safe community of St. Mary a 10 mins drive from Ocho Rios.
The house has a lot of natural features such as birds, butterflies and trees with fruits that stand guard around the home.
There is a pool that you can enjoy your swimming activities, a fountain where birds take baths and a birdcage in which you can take part in feeding them.
Also, there is a large garden where kids can run around and play safely. Table and chairs are provided so you can enjoy the sun and the tropical breeze of Jamaica.
If you need help with the transfer, we can assist you. It will cost $1.00 US per kilometer, which would be a total of $ 105.00 from Montego Bay Airport to ' Roses of Avalon"
Guest Access:
The guest has access to their rooms, of course, the swimming pool, the bird cage, as well as flowers and roses garden, yard space, parking area, living room and kitchen.
Do not harm or frighten the birds and other wildlife that share the property with us.
Interaction with Guests:
Any trouble or problem that occurs within our properties I would offer my best advice in assisting you.
Certainly I or my colleagues will be available to help with general country advice.
The Neighborhood:
This is a very quiet affluent residential neighborhood with elegant houses that stands on substantial lots.
Its located with a 5 min walk from a supermarket. There is also a major police station in case of any unfortunate situation.
Getting Around:
The house is very close to a major highway, therefore taxis are readily available. Renting a car may also be a good option as the house has parking spaces within gates.
Having a car would greatly enhance your mobility and greatly increase your local knowledge.
Ocho Rios is a 10 min drive away from the house and is known for the many attraction, for example Dunn's River Falls, Dolphin Cove, Mystic Mountain, Blue Hole and many more tourist attraction.
So there would be a lot of activity you could take part in to enjoy your vacation even more.
Other Things to Note:
PLEASE NOTE: THERE IS NO LIFEGUARD ON DUTY! TAKE DUE PRECAUTION ESPECIALLY FOR KIDS!
The initial cleaning that we provide our guests is charged for as part of the original booking.
New cleanings are very easy to arrange!
All you have to do is ask for a fresh cleaning and one will be provided at the same cost as the first.
Please note that this listing does not come with any form of a meal plan and also that the host is not required to supply groceries to the guest.
Electricity is a huge expense in this big old house. We have routinely received bills exceeding US$1000.00 a month. We are "begging" our guests to have some pity on us!! It is especially galling to see all the airconditioners on full blast, and the guests are not even present in the property.
Please be informed that, in such a case, we will turn off the A/C s ourselves.
