Impossibly Cool Downtown Flat
This place is James Dean. This place is Marilyn Monroe. Or, if you prefer, this place is Ryan Gosling and Scarlett Johansson. Either way - it's beautiful. It's cool. It's stunning and it's where you want to be. This place exists to give you a relaxing and luxurious sanctuary in the heart of downtown.
The Space:
Some of the furniture is brand new, some is vintage thrifting, and some is hand made - but all of it is incredible and it all works together to deliver an experience that simply can't be topped.
But an apartment is more than its furnishings. For example, the balcony looks onto a quiet street. And it's the wall to wall windows in the living and bedrooms to get you your daily allotment of Vitamin D. And the more than ample storage space so that when you arrive, you can (if you like) put your luggage away and really kick up your feet and feel right at home. And it's its super cute kitchen and bathroom. Neither one is big, but both are just overflowing with charm.
Long story short - you're going to feel incredible when you're here.
Guest Access:
The apartment will be all yours. Nothing is off limits. So as we mentioned before, put your feet up. Stay a while.
Interaction with Guests:
We'll do our best to greet you upon arrival and show you around - but, if the logistics don't allow for that, we'll send out some simple self-check-in instructions that will get you all set up! After that, you'll be left to your own devices.
And speaking of devices, ours are always in our pockets. So if there is ANYTHING - day or night - we're available. Feel very free to reach out if there's need.
The Neighborhood:
Being in such a central location is magnificent. You're at the foot of the mountain, but you're only a couple minutes from Sainte Catherine street. Mile End and our famous bagels are due north and world famous St Laurent is a few minutes east. No matter your fancy, it'll be well tickled from this space.
Getting Around:
The metro station Place des Arts will be your home base at about a five minute walk from the flat. From there, the green line is all yours. If you wanna head north to the plateau, you can grab the 24 on Sherbrooke and disembark in three minutes (five if it's rush hour) at Saint Laurent and either make the leisurely stroll north, or grab the 55 if you've got a specific destination in mind. If Mile End and the bagels found therein tickles your fancy, it's just a few steps east toward Parc to grab the 80 north. And there's a Bixi stand super close to the apartment. And of course, Montreal is one of the most walkable cities in the world, so if you've got a comfy pair of kicks, you're all set!
Other Things to Note:
We don't mean to brag (yes we do) - but this place is us. The bed was made by hand, in the very same bedroom where it's now residing. The bedside shelves were painstakingly measured and mounted to go with THAT bed. And the wood for them was from the leftovers from the bed. Also left over from bed building: the supplemental counter space/eating space beside the kitchen. Laid out and painstakingly sanded and finished right in the apartment. For THAT spot. You just can't beat that.
