Bookings in the many very good restaurants in the Constantia Valley or elsewhere on the Cape Peninsula are a matter of course, according to your taste and daily appetite.

We are situated in beautiful countryside and all of the trappings of contemporary living. Constantia has got an excellent infrastructure with all amenities. Imagine leafy tree-lined avenues, flourishing vineyards, and elegant private residences. Short drives to either the False Bay coastline with its charming historical suburbs or to the white-sanded beaches of Hout Bay and Llandudno. Constantia, an ideal place for a serene and relaxed holiday in Cape Town.

Our wider area is called "Constantia Valley", the jewel of the Cape, steeped in history and breathtaking scenery. It is the birthplace of the wine farming industry in South Africa. World-class wines are being produced in these lovely green surroundings and accoladed for its escalating quality. Visitors can taste the fine wines and experience a unique journey through each of the 8 open-for-public farms, which also hold top-class Restaurants, namely e.g. "chef’s Warehouse" at Beau Constantia and "the Restaurant" at Buitenverwachting. The farms are all within a few minutes’ drives of each other. With two top-class golf courses within the valley and two others in the vicinity, Constantia is well known as one of the golfing paradises of the world. It includes Constantia craft market, local horse-riding and mountain-biking trails, and the up-market Constantia Village Shopping Center which offers a wonderful variety of boutiques, coffee shops and restaurants.

Also within a short distance of Constantia is the world-famous Kirstenbosch National Botanical Gardens (5km), where one can spend hours wandering through the splendor of countless different botanical displays, such as the Fragrance Garden, the Dell, the Cycad Amphitheatre. Alternatively summer picnics on the rolling green lawns gazing at the breathtaking mountain backdrop listening to the music of one of Sunday-concerts at Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens. These sunset concerts are a fine way to spend some of your holidays in Cape Town.

In order to be able to explore the Cape Peninsula and the Winelands nearby and really enjoy the beauty of the scenery, a rental car with no mileage limit is definitely recommended. If this is not desired, the following alternatives remain:

The use of taxi services, especially Uber, is very easy and inexpensive in and around Cape Town. There are always several vehicles available in our area (usually 2-5 minutes of travel time to arrival).

For day tours, e.g. for a wine tasting to the Winelands around Stellenbosch or Franschhoek, we are happy to arrange a rental car (limousine or minibus) with drivers at reasonable prices. If possible, we are happy to coordinate several of our guests for joint excursions and appropriate cost-sharing.

Regardless of the choice of individual transport, a tour with one of the red sightseeing (double-decker) buses is absolutely recommended: Simple and flexible to use (hop-on, Hop-off), reasonable in price, quite something with highly efficient fun factor!

Guest should arrange enough time for the "check-in Procedure" we have to go through:
· Check-in Form completed and signed
· Credit Card Confirmation signed
· Copies/pictures of Credit Card and Id Card or Passport been taken
· Familiarization of guests with premises and facilities
Attention:
We do not handover a key-set to guests without having received all of the abovementioned documents signed and copied! We do require the signature of the credit card holder and the person staying in the booked unit!
