With it’s stunning beaches, lovely tropical hinterland and excellent tourist infrastructure Phuket is The Pearl of the Andaman. Kamala beach is one of the largest and more popular beaches of Phuket. The beach is clean and pretty. It occupies a broad sweeping two mile crescent on the west coast, with hills either end. Located a 20 minute drive north of the nightlife of Patong beach, Kamala is a quiet Thai community with a pleasant villagey feel.

The people are warm and friendly, the culture is rich and the food is delicious and very good value for money. There is fantastic shopping and many beautiful temples, a lively nightlife scene and of course we cannot ignore the colourful ladyboy shows in Patong. There are also many great activities such as scuba diving, snorkeling and water sports. Everyday there is a local market to shop for your tastefull local Thai food. For those prefering Western food, just check out the restaurants at the beach or the very good ‘Rockfish’ restaurant for your very special menus and cocktails in the evening.
