A magnificent and calm place to experience Lofoten for whatever season, or if you are looking for some good sea fishing.
From the house and the terrace, you have a splendid view of the sea and the
many little islands in the area.
In addition to the beds in the bedrooms, there are 2 beds in the
mezzanine. Satellite dish with several international channels. Free
broadband internet. Cot and high chair can be borrowed.
Enjoy your morning coffee watching the
sunrise in the east. During winter you can see Northern Lights
colourfully moving across the polar sky on clear days and nights. A
great place for sport fishers wanting good fishing conditions. All the
islands give protection against wind and waves, making it possible to
fish also in bad weather.
On the dock is a fish
cleaning table where you can prepare your catch in impressive
surroundings. The place is the
perfect starting point for day excursions around Lofoten. The town Ure
used to be one of Lofotens most important fishing villages during the
annual winter fishing for cod. 10 km to Leknes, a modern small town with
shops, restaurants, pub and airport. This part of Lofoten has some great
hiking trails in the mountains and from the tops you have a stunning
view.
