Help yourself to the well-equipped kitchen recently upgraded to granite countertops to make your familiar recipes or experiment with the local cuisine.
As you head down the hallway, you will pass the laundry room with new washer/dryer, the bathroom with granite, glass sink and shower upgrades, into your master bedroom with queen bed, built-in closets, security safe, quality linens, and black-out curtains for a good night's rest.
Recently the owners installed a 'security screen' on the bedroom slider so you can sleep with the slider open for the night breezes but the screen door cannot be opened except with a key.
People ask many questions about the safety and security here in Playa; it is safe to walk the streets at night; common sense will keep you out of trouble. Similarly, here at the condo, preventitively, we have staff during the day and a security guard at night; the building gates are kept locked at all times; your sliders have security pins; and you have security safes for your passports and valuables. We also happen to have a tourist police sub-station right in front of our complex. Life Is Good At Playa!

When you stay at Casa Colibri, you are staying in the new north end of Playa where it is quiet at night, away from the traffic and noise of the central area, yet close enough to participate when you want and then head back home.
It is the best of both worlds with new restaurants and shops opening up all the time in this popular new part of town.
You are also part of a small sense of community - if you wish it - of international neighbors who might get together for happy hours, community grill night, and offer massage mondays by the pool.
So this is not a stark condo-hotel atmosphere, but a true sense of home away from home. We have a friendly full-time, bilingual onsite manager to help you with questions, maintenance and repairs, as needed.
