The property is in the traditional little village Douliana on the north coast of Crete. It has been designated a national nature reserve with the title Natura.
It was built a long time ago as a warehouse for agricultural products, such as olives and wine. During the renovation, the architects paid attention to integrating existing elements from the past, such as the millstone and wooden beams. The accommodation therefore exudes a degree of history and tradition. There are two fully furnished and equipped terraced houses with a separate entrance and a private outdoor terrace.

The place around the pool and plants offer a shared pool with several deckchairs and parasols. For bookings of one of the terraced houses, the pool is shared only between the 2 houses.

There are two local restaurants with traditional Greek cuisine and a little market with regional products. A large forest surrounds the village. A three-kilometre-long road leads to various beaches. The town Chania is 22km away to the east.

1st house
House for up to six persons
The air conditioned house comprises a living room, a dining room, a kitchen and a bathroom. The living room provides a fireplace, comfortable seating and satellite Tv. The adjoining dining space has a dining table with chairs and a sofa bed. The kitchen is comparatively small and is equipped with a two-ring hob, mini oven, fridge with freezer compartment, kettle, toaster and coffee machine. The bathroom consists of a shower, washbasin and toilet. Wooden stairs lead to the two upper floors in a loft style, with an open layout, as the bedrooms are not separated by doors. On the first floor there are two queensize double beds, while the attic has a further queensize double bed and wardrobes.
2nd house for up to four persons
The ground floor comprises a living room-bedroom, a kitchen and a bathroom. The spacious living room-bedroom provides a fireplace, a sofa, two armchairs, a coffee table, satellite Tv and a kingsize double bed in the corner of the room. The separate kitchen is fully-equipped with all the necessary appliances, as well as a dining table with four chairs and a sofa. The bathroom has a shower, washbasin and toilet. Wooden stairs lead to the gallery that serves as a bedroom and is furnished with a queen size double bed and a wardrobe.
The outdoor terrace has a sun shade, a stone bench and a dining table with chairs and a grill. The 60 m² swimming pool is for your exclusive private use.
