Not far from Hejlsminde are Skamlingsbanken and Christiansfeld (famous for honey cakes, ornamental fireplaces and salami). Kolding also offers many experiences for families with children and art enthusiasts. Do visit the Trapholt Museum. There is also a games park, which offers free entry. Also a large shopping centre in Kolding invites you for a stroll. As many houses are under construction in this holiday home area, you can expect some construction noise.
