* Located on the 11th floor, and next to about 11 other similarly constructed buildings.
Exterior
* Building is one of about 12 buildings in an enclosed community (security at the entrance) with amenities such as gym, soccer field, pool, Turkish bath, lake area, dog area, walking, and jogging pathway.
* Outside of gated community, you step into Laureles; one of the safest areas in Medellin. A bus takes you to Metro in 10 minutes, and everything Medellin-related is within 20 minutes by cab. Medellin's international airport is 40 minutes away by cab; 1 hour by public transportation.
The neighborhood:
Laureles is known for its laid-back quality. Every street makes you feel like you are entering a new world or a new city. People are friendly and reciprocate good morning, good afternoon, and good evening in Spanish. The people in the gated community are generally affluent, friendly, and mind their own business. The complex is maintained daily, and there is a convenience store, and a hair salon at the entrance. Security is on patrol 24 hours a day, so you will need to be registered to come in and out freely. My girlfriend and I are very laid back and will help you as needed. Everything from information, to a ride somewhere, is possible with us. We require a 3-day minimum since registering is a process within the facility.
