Charming character cottage built in 1891 and now lovingly restored .for your relaxing holiday in the Eifel.
Our beautiful 'English Rose' cottage is comfortably equipped with two bedrooms with 1 double bed, 1 king bed and a sofa bed for one. There is a well equipped country kitchen with all utensils and dining area for up to 5 people. The modern bathroom has a generous shower and twin his and hers toilets and vanity sink.
2 wood burning stoves provide the overall heating ambience for this old cottage with it's original features that has been extensively insulated. The living area has sat tv with dvd, wifi is also available for those still needing the outside world. A garden bbq allows for relaxing days along with the covered terrace no matter what the weather. The log burning stoves provide a truly cozy and romantic setting for winter getaways.
The garden has furniture is available . For your car we provide a generous garage with electric door and further parking for an additional 2 cars is available on the drive. Overall our English Rose Cottage provides a welcome and relaxing stay whilst exploring what the area has to offer.
The house is only 100m from the scenic biking/walking paths that take you 32km in either direction through beautiful countryside and past stunning Volcanic lakes.
If you fancy a spa day then Bad Bertrich thermal baths are only a 15 min drive, they offer heated (volcanic heated mineral water) indoor and outdoor pools, saunas, massage and restaurants and the small village of Bad Bertrich is below.
