Mas St Jean is a beautiful restored 19th century Provençale Mas. Its volume is massive, it has 390 m² of luxury living space, 11 rooms (incl. 4 bedrooms all with private bathrooms and airconditioning) therefore large enough to comfortably host up to 8 adults (the maximum number of persons allowed). However, the family-suite has a private mezzanine on which we placed a comfortable couch which sleeps an extra 2 persons (usually used by children).

The lovely with antiques and classic furniture decorated living room, dining room and kitchen all have open fire places. The Mas is faced South and all rooms downstairs have direct entrance to the terrace, all bedrooms have astonishing views of the park.

Undoubtedly, once you have seen it, you will agree, the park is silent, spacious, simply paradise. During decades, the owners of Villa Mas St Jean spent a fortune to make it special and beautiful as it has become. The domain has a surface ofm² and has a vast variety of plants and trees, oleanders, palm trees and ancient olive trees. It is also the home of a family of squirrels, and probably a lot more …

Because the property is completely enclosed by a wall and only accessible through a large electrical gate, and surrounded by fruit plantations from the famous house of Chabas, guests enjoy maximum privacy and security. Certainly also ideal with children (and/or dogs) because they can’t wonder off or get lost.

Walking through the park makes you aware of the colours so typical for the Provence. The house is kept cool by three impressive and huge centennial sycamore trees. At sunset you can switch on the lights in the park. Either from the terrace in front of the house or from the terrace alongside the swimming pool, the lighten park is a beautiful and unforgettable sight.
Bleu de Nîmes, Ocre Rouge, Blanc de Sable, Vert de Chine each shade of nature extends into one of the rooms and suites. Also the harmony of colours which continues into the bathrooms.

Marble floors, provencal and antique furniture, luxurious bedding, transparent linen gauze or printed tissues, each bedroom has its style and particular ambience.

All bedrooms have airconditioning from April 2016.

The heated swimming pool is situated at the sunniest location of the domain. The swimming pool is quite large, it measures 6 x 12 meters and tiled with mosaic. Its depth goes tometers. We have implemented a stair with 'plage' in the pool which enables you to 'lounge' in the water.
We have invested heavily in eco-energy by installing solar panels (which are placed out of sight) used for all of the warm water needs of the domain, including the swimming pool. As an extra feature we also installed a ‘pompe de chaleur’ heating system and an electrical coverage. All these features significantly improves the utilisation of the pool during early- and after season. The lamellen coverage covers the entire pool and keeps the quality, cleanness and pleasant temperature of the water, but it also provides security (mandatory by law. ) as e. g. children can no longer accidently drown when they are not supervised. These significant investments make our property even more appealing.

Furthermore; you have 6 teak lounge chairs, with luxury cousins at your disposal and 2 wicker lounge chairs. The terrace at the swimming pool has its (newly)covered terrace, a fully equipped summer kitchen and a dining table large enough for at least 8 persons. The summer kitchen is equipped with a luxury large Borreti Majustuoso Bbq, a fridge, dish washer and sink with running hot en cold water. At evenings, while dining at the pool with family and friends, the combination of garden lights and the lighted swimming pool, brings an experience that is unforgettable and makes you feel ‘untouchable’.
For the somewhat cooler early and late season evenings, we have installed professional gas heaters under the covered pool terrace. This will guarantee you can dine outside even when evenings become ‘chilly’.
